Hanging Guide ∨

Your artwork arrives fully assembled and ready to hang. A D-ring wire system spans the back of the frame — compatible with standard picture hooks, nails, or the included screws and wall plugs.

For plasterboard/drywall: Use the included wall plugs for secure mounting. Hang at a height where the centre of the art is at eye level (approx. 145–150 cm from floor).

For plaster or brick walls: Standard masonry screws through the supplied wall plugs. Minimum screw length: 40 mm.

Use the included spirit-level sticker to ensure perfect alignment before driving nails or screws.

Nordvik was founded on a simple idea: that the right piece on the right wall changes a room entirely. Not just how it looks — but how it feels to be in it. We curate framed wall art chosen for its composition, tone, and ability to bring calm, character, and visual balance to modern interiors.

How we select

Every piece in our collection is chosen by our in-house team of designers and interior stylists. We look for compositions with presence and restraint — work that holds its ground quietly, without demanding the room revolve around it.

Our selection is guided by visual quality, tonal harmony, and how each piece performs across different interior contexts — from minimal Scandinavian apartments to warm, layered home offices. We edit carefully, so you don't have to search endlessly.

Materials and presentation

Every Nordvik print is produced on 300gsm archival fine art paper using pigment-based inks rated for over 100 years of colour stability. Each piece is mounted behind museum-grade anti-reflective glass that blocks 99% of UV radiation, preserving the clarity and depth of the image for generations.

Frames are built from solid FSC-certified Scandinavian pine at our partner workshop in Oslo, finished in four options: Natural Oak, Walnut, Matte White, and Matte Black. Every frame is assembled, checked, and packed by hand before it leaves.

Responsibility

We use FSC-certified wood, water-based inks, and 100% recycled packaging. All deliveries are carbon-offset. We are working towards B-Corp certification in 2026.

Packaging

Every order is packed in rigid board outer packaging with foam corner protection and acid-free inner wrapping. Our packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable. We never use bubble wrap or styrofoam.

Tracking

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link as soon as your order is dispatched — usually within 24 hours of placing your order on business days.

Customs & Duties

Orders within the EU and EEA are shipped duty-paid. For deliveries outside these regions, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Damaged deliveries

In the rare event your piece arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours at hello@nordvik.com. We will arrange a free replacement.

Returns & Refunds

Hassle-free returns

We offer free, no-questions-asked returns within 30 days of delivery. If you're not completely satisfied with your piece, we'll arrange collection and refund you in full — including the original delivery cost.

How to return

We'll email you a pre-paid return label within 1 business day
Repack the artwork in its original packaging if possible
Drop off at any Postnord or DHL service point
Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the return

Refund timeline

Refunds are returned to your original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days depending on your bank. Klarna refunds appear within 5–7 business days.

Exchanges

We don't process direct exchanges. If you'd like a different size, finish, or artwork, simply return your order for a full refund and place a new order.

Non-returnable items

Custom or personalised orders cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged. Gift cards are non-refundable.

By accessing nordvik.com or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please do not use our site.

2. Products

All artwork is sold as individual prints in specified sizes and frames. Colours may vary slightly from screen to print due to monitor calibration. We reserve the right to withdraw any product from sale without notice.

3. Pricing

All prices are shown in NOK and include 25% Norwegian VAT. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price confirmed at checkout is the price you pay.

4. Orders and contract

Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send your order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of pricing errors, fraud suspicion, or unavailability.

5. Intellectual property

All images, content, and creative works on nordvik.com are owned by Nordvik AS or its licensed rights holders. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nordvik AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of your order.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved through the Oslo District Court unless you are a consumer with rights under EU consumer law.
